About me
Hi, I'm Dat — a young Director of Photography with over 7 years of experience in visual art, back in Ho Chi Minh City after four years in California. ✌️
Studying cinematography at UC Santa Barbara with production coursework at UCLA, then worked on numerous LA sets: shorts, narrative, commercial, music video. I learned the craft in a market with no tolerance for a soft frame, and I hold my work to that standard here. I light for emotion and move the camera for rhythm. From 16mm to a fully built stylized setup, I don't make pretty coverage - I make images with intent. 💡🎞️
